A PIN Number will permit the User to make other than local calls (ie.
National/International) from any extension on campus depending on the access
level assigned ot the PIN no. The calls will be debited to the User's
extn number.
An alternative PIN No is similar to a PIN number and is used in the same way. Calls made from your normal extn number are debited to a GL Account code. If you wish your calls at times to be debited to a different GL Account Code, an Alternative PIN No can be used to debit calls to a nominated GL Account Code. This is commonly used to charge calls to Research Accounts.
